When your brokerage in TREC no longer sponsors an agent, they must be removed from your Office Roster in the ABoR Subscriber Portal. The Designated REALTOR® or an assigned Broker Delegate can only perform this action. If necessary, ABoR staff can also process the termination with a written request from the broker.
Tip: Be sure to update TREC and ABoR records promptly to avoid any licensing or MLS access issues.
❶ Log in to the Subscriber Portal
Go to unlockmls.com, find Log In at the top right of the screen, and click Subscriber Portal.
❷ Select the "Brokerage" tab
This will be found in the menu on the left. The menu may need to be expanded by clicking the hamburger menu ≡ (triple bar symbol).
❸ Click "Roster"
❹ Select the kebab menu next to Agent Name
Find the agent that is being terminated. Click the kebab menu ⋮ next to their name to display different actions.
❺ Select "Terminate"
The last option available is Terminate.
❻ Confirmation
A confirmation menu will appear. To process the termination of the agent, select Confirm.
Selecting Cancel will end this process and leave the agent in the office roster.
❼ Complete
Once the agent is terminated, they will be removed from the roster and their services will be suspended.
They will be notified to complete a change of office to continue using their services. A new sponsorship must be set up in TREC, and 24 hours must have passed from the new Sponsor Date for the agent to complete this process.
