Our team follows a verification process to ensure the accuracy and security of listing data before making any updates. Here’s what we check:
- Confirm the user’s identity.
- Verify the active MLS subscription in Tangilla.
- Confirm ownership of the listing.
Based on this information, we proceed as follows:
- If the user is both the subscriber and the owner of the listing, we will proceed with the update.
- If the user is a subscriber but not the owner, we will request supporting documentation (such as a listing agreement, closing statement, or contract).
- If the user is neither a subscriber nor the listing owner, we will:
- Request login credentials.
- Ask for documentation and involve the appropriate representative (e.g., listing agent, broker, or buyer's agent).
- Require written confirmation from the property owner.
These steps ensure that listing updates are made securely and only by authorized parties.
